Seeing as I only start work at 10.30 today  we’ve caught up on the highlights show, and all the extras on YouTube (worth a little watch when you have the time). It’s very bittersweet seeing the end of the coverage. I’m not a fan of this subscription package life we’ve created.

But, like starting a new job from home at 10.30am, I guess this is 2025 and beyond now.

My discount offer expires 28aug, but I normally watch vuelta(23aug-14 sep) and world champs (21-28sep) and lombardia (6 oct) after that I’ll ditch it until het volk, to see if I get new offers.

TNT is £18.00/month if done through your TV package thingy. I renewed mine last week so that’s an update to date figure. It’s £30.99 if paid for a standalone month via TNT, I just looked it up.

Considering I watch Le Mans, MotoGP, Le Tour and a few one day classics at the start of the season it was worth paying £18/month rather than £30.99 as and when.

that’s how I do mine as I had it with BT Sports package via BT Broadband - that’s now become a Disco+ package (includes TNT) via EE Broadband which is what the BT one is now branded as since their merger.

Also having an APP FOR BL00DY EVERYTHING also does my head in. I currently have 139 on my phone and could easily have 150+. How to keep track of everything.

Nods in agreement…

I often have to search for the lesser used app I need as I can’t see the bloody thing amongst all the others on the screen even though I’ve put them in folders (iOS).

I think I saw EE mobile sim only for £30 with Disco included, so I might swap “the mrs” contract… This is a separate issue as we are on giffgaf and o2 switched off 3g last week and it’s crap now at the house.

I have the AVG VPN on my phone; as it’s Google I guess I can use it on my laptop via logging into Chrome. Not tried it yet though.

I suspect there will be a lot of demand for VPNs now, and not to watch cycling
