Got a little emotional last night watching the coverage.
40 odd years I’ve watched The Tour on either Ch4 or ITV and when they played the “highlights package” I remember watching every single one.
It’s not I mind paying £30+ quid, it’s the voices.
Same as watching old WWF/WWE.
The conmentators are as much a part of the experience as anything.
But only if you’ve a VPN 
I’ve had Proton VPN for some time. No idea why… 
I’ll be tuning in to German coverage if they have free to view; otherwise it’ll be French.
I assume the conversation has moved back to cycling?
Not trying to shill for EE or anything, but in some of their more expensive mobile or broadband packages you can get Discovery+ and TNT bundled. I’m not saying it’s a great deal, do you own math of course, but it is there for consideration. I much prefer the ITV coverage and highlights show myself 
I got an add on so picked Netflix as I didn’t think there was much else on that channel.

I got YT premium on my bundle; tbf I use that every day.
Yeah I think I’ll go the VPN and France TV option. Mr will just have to up his game with his French.
I cant believe people consuming that sort of content wouldn’t have been using a VPN in the first place.
I use NordVPN, basically so i can keep my banking more secure.. actually im digging a hole here

Maybe go across to France next year and watch a few seconds of it in person. Maybe a better experience than a year of subscription tv?
and that trip alone will cost more than a year’s subs
My posts further up highlight that’s it’s not the fun of the past, so my time on the roadside is done for TdF. Now I like my comfy sofa and access to a loo, drinks and food.
Never ruling out watching the smaller races - they’re still a good day or 2 out.

Can’t see who would want Roglic. I find him entertaining, but he doesn’t seem to be much of a team player if not leading & his powers are waning.
