Pro Cycling Live - will contain spoilers

Again I should have planned better.

We’re sort of in the mid point between tomorrow and Fridays stage. So difficult to just take a couple hours out. It needed a proper half day off to make the most of it.

Red flag - race stopped top of the final cat 1…oh another vehicle accident on the course.
They had already re-routed the start because of another!

Stuck on Pendle Hill for 30mins in the freezing rain…grim.

Fortunately no-one hurt.

Has everyone forgotten how to drive and ride in the rain.

Not the cyclists fault. Lorries & cars have caused the stops & cyclists are now in a neutralized peleton until they get started again.

Walked up to the finish line today and they were belting along at a fast pace along the prom into the headwind. Had a wander along through the team buses and got a few water bottles from some of the teams. Had a chat with Team Smurfit Westrock as I was actually doing some Smurfit Westrock work today

BOO!!!

What a great chap. So interesting to watch. He kept going with pointless attacks and breaks all year.

What a shame.

Agreed. In his prime he was amazing to watch.

The other riders usually knew where he was going to attack, but when he went there was nothing they could do about it if he was on a good day

Had a great day following the ToB yesterday.

Had a mooch & chat around Mold before cycling the route to catch the riders going up the first QoM 35km in. Didn’t realise that the QoM was also going to be a feed zone so it was a bonus seeing that palaver in action.

Carried on route for another 10km before heading back home over the moors.

Unlocked a new fear when a contact lens self-destructed with 2hrs to go :grimacing:.

Got home & watched the stage in awe of how fast they were climbing the hills & fearless on some sketchy descents :raising_hands:

We’re flag marshalling this afternoon - Mrs FB is in Clyro on a traffic island, I’m in Glasbury just at a 90 degree left hand turn by a garage - that could be interesting as it’s tight!!
