It’s not clear whether that’s the case, or whether the rights weren’t available to them
It’s a shame they’ve not got it because it’s been bloody good.
How else is womens cycling going to get promoted if it’s not on free to air tv?
Comedy motorbike fail at top of the final climb today for the women’s tour
Does the cycling coverage that GCN provide differ from Eurosport? I took out Eurosport about 18mths ago when there was a promotion & after forgetting to cancel my subscription it rolled over again this year.
I have no interest in chess, equestrian events, archery etc but was wondering if GCN had the recent San Sebastian or Tour de Pologne?
I think it’s the same pictures but without the ads, isn’t it?
You probably get more events on GCN than Eurosport because it’s not competing with tennis etc for air time
Think they had both of those races. I’m pretty sure that if all you’re interested in is cycling then GCN+ is the best option. They also had that PTO Edmonton tri last weekend
Tour of Poland isn’t on anywhere, something to do with a dispute.
So apparently the best warmup for a track elimination race is to do a 5 hour road race.
Chapeau Viviani
Great staredown in the women’s sprint final
Carapaz to EF, Israel or even back to Movistar… apparently.
Also Yates contract talks meant to have broken down. Apparently back to Bike Exchange.
Have Ineos run out of money, or are they saving it all to make Pog an offer.
And Tom Dumoulin has quit immediately
Lots of money going on younger riders, clearly hoping to develop a few GC contenders.
To be fair, Yates and Carapaz were meant to be GC guys and haven’t delivered.
Let’s see what the youngsters can do. Plapp, Rodriguez and Sheffield are apparently the big hopes. Arensman is supposed to be signing from DSM, another rider touted for great things.
There was talk of Roglic signing, but he’s only just into a 5 year contract at Jumbo.
Ellingworth was apparently very unimpressed with Yates performance at the Tour.
Sheffield looked good at times through the classics season
Was really impressed with him and Turner, a couple of real good finds.
Didn’t he win a 3 week race already? Not just his fault that the Slovenians have come along like this.
He sneaked a Giro with Movistar a few years back.
Should have won the Giro this year but blew it against Hindley.
Nairo Quintana popped for tramadol at the Tour. Gets DQ’d from the Tour but no ban.
I suppose, for a Team with such a huge budget, they have delivered sparingly. Yes there have been a number of 2nd places, but hardly the domination they had hoped for.
