A guy I ride with, Roberto Jenal was a friend of Davide Rebellin, his posts are heart breaking. I was reading an article, hit and run, driver comes from Germany, previous hit and run prosecution and previous drink driving, WTF is this guy doing on the road, suspect he will face a very long jail term in Italy, but doesn’t bring Davide back

And in bigger news, Ineos are being sponsored by SunGod. So there’s questions about what G is gonna do with his famous Oakleys!

Also, more tri related i believe, but it seems that Spesh are making a sudden exit out of that market.

edit - it seems it was the ambassador program that Spesh suddenly dropped. This happened to coincide with Josh Amberger and Spesh parting ways. I thought the two must’ve been related, but that was my error.

I see Van per Poel’s had his assault conviction overturned in Australia.

Seems reasonable under the circumstances, but doesn’t undo the damage done to his race.

Watched that last night, haven’t they been racing for 3 days on the trot now?
I know they’re not doing 5/6 hour days like a tour but there are long lulls in a stage race, this is full on for an hour solid. Some seem to be picking and choosing but others doing every day and I think they were averaging the best part of 30kph when it was drier.
