Yesterdays stage was 3-4000m of climbing.
They managed 41kmh 
Thatās madness.

The bloke in green did well not to be eating tarmac at the finish 
I feel sorry for Andrea Vendrame (AG2R CitroĆ«n) who had to avoid Cavās throw for 5th and ended up in the barriers after crossing the line

Theyāll be torturing themselves with āwhat ifsā for a couple of days, but they must have been totally spent & the finish looked a bit of an uphill drag.

Think they started to over think it at about 1.3km. Itās all or nothing I guess, and they got nothingā¦
If theyād have stuck to the plan until 200m I think theyād have made it, but thereās only one winner and thatās the game I guess.
