Pro Cycling Live - will contain spoilers

Yeah. The commentators stopped short of saying it was “unbelievable”, as did the beaten few in their post-match interviews :zipper_mouth_face:

Seems everyone is thinking it, but that’s cycling I guess…

Xavier Disley tweeted that because Remco is so aero, Ganna needed another 23W to match him.

But that’s to beat him by 1 second isn’t it? So you’re looking at Ganna being something like 100 watts down to lose by such a margin aren’t you?

I read the tweet as that Ganna would need 23w more to match Remco’s time, I’m sure he’d have put out many more watts than Remco given the difference in cdas.

Is this the end of the road for G?

At his best he might not have beaten Remco and Ganna, but there’s plenty of people there that he would have done

Cav for the win today?

I put it on with 56K to go and decided to go back for the finish, then forgot until I saw your message

Good sprint though, he left them in his wake.

Bad luck for Tao losing another 19 seconds…

To be honest, I think he did well to only lose 19 seconds. He was fortunate that so many people were caught behind the crash, so there was a huge 2nd group that looked to be flying

Interesting that all but one team are running tubeless tyres.

Mainly 28mm too.

Although some tyres are measuring 30-32mm when mounted :exploding_head::boom:

The intermarche bikes are class
Love that invisible Schrader valve inside the rim, with the cover - plus the neon green bottles and accents.

I suspect a lot of the tyre choice is driven by the tyre companies and what they want to sell to their regular customers :man_shrugging:

Do you think?

Why would a pro team compromise performance like that?

Bicycle Rolling Resistance site seems to agree too. :woman_shrugging:t4:

$$$$$

Most of the teams didn’t want disc brakes but the bike manufacturers wanted the public to see the pros riding discs so that everyone would think that they need to buy a new bike with discs

But … the actual disc and calliper look like a regurgitated dogs dinner :face_vomiting:

Although all of the cables are now hidden, which looks fricking ace

And let’s be honest, it’s not about how fast you are, it’s about how good you look whilst doing it :sunglasses::cool:
