I believe Lange was during his 2 Kona wins, may have just been veggie though

We need an AB ‘when will he break down and start walking’ sweepstake. Clearly not fit, just not accepting it.

Based on the last few months, we need a ‘will he even start’ one

a couple of ex-Elite athletes will be racing age group in Hamburg this weekend.

Stuart Hayes 40-44 - he was the 3rd athlete alongside the Brownlees at the London Olympics

Michelle Dillon 50-54 - competed at Sydney and Athens Olympics, and wife of Stuart Hayes

Anyone know how the elite races work at Hamburg. Repercharges, heats, 3 races in the final. My tiny, simple mind got well and truly lost - much simpler back in my day etc…

no idea - not looked at the details

TRI247 has it here

$4000 for winning 70.3 Swansea seems a bit weak.

Same as nearly all other 70.3s - the ones with 25 or 30k purses have 4k for winner.

For info, Hamburg qualifiers start from 7am UK time today (Friday). On red button I guess. Yee is in the first qualifier.

Annoyingly not on iPlayer, at least I can’t find it.

My TV signal here has never been good but I can watch almost everything via the internet I’ve never bothered to sort it out. Usually red button stuff can be done via iPlayer.

That’s frustrating. I signed up to a year of triathlonlive.tv a few weeks ago. Looks like red button is full of Wimbledon coverage instead. I’m sure (hopefully) the finals will be on red button tomorrow.

Appears to just be:
15:20-18:50 Saturday
11:45-13:35 Sunday

Not on the broadcast red button, but should be on web/internet - which is still red button if you do that.

The supersprint finals were on Saturday afternoon and the mixed relay a little while ago. All the races were pretty good and would make good turbo viewing.

Looks Alistair won’t be doing IM Lake Placid from startlist on the race fb page. Don’t know how definitive that is though?

this is an old post but yes, pretty common in Oz but normally a Sunday evening in winter. It’s called a ‘baked dinner’. Lots of veggies and heavy on butternut pumpkin usually.

He’s been silent on Insta for a month or so now which usually coincides with something bad having happened. He’s quite a frequent psoter these days when he’s training properly.
