That was some implosion from Ali. As I mentioned before, he seems to want to race HIM and IM as he did ITU or at least that’s how it looks to me.

Well, T2 was pretty much it, that and perhaps sprinting back to the front immediately. Just needs the right strategy/tactics which ironically Sanders seems to be excelling at - that’s the second time at least he has “under” biked and trusted his run to take him through the field. The same strategy would likely get Alistair the win.
Laundry of course knew himself better than any of them. What a win for him.

Yeah, if you look at those who win ironman races on the run, which is probably an unfair description, they seemed to be looked down on. Ali seems.to need to be in and around the front showing jow good he is all race not just at the end.

I thought the sub7 thing would teach him a better pacing strategy, maybe it will for IM. Not sure he over bikes, but does seem to want to win the run in the first 5k.
