Interesting to know if Knibb had GI issues, overbiked or just paced the run steady knowing she had a big lead, 1:19 isn’t a fast run but when you’ve obliterated the field on the bike… great performance though.
I like Kat, very gritty and a great performance as she’s more a full distance athlete but a 1:15 run is shifting and she looked quite fresh!

She was 19th and crashed 4 times?, tbf shes not that far off an Olympic TT medal, although the goal posts will have moved by the next Olympics.

I guess apart from Kona / France or t100 there’s not a lot left for her to do even at her tender age, if she won the Olympic tt or even got on the podium she could lay claim to the fastest elite triathlon cyclist I guess ?
I know vino and some of the other bikie drug cheats went on to become very fast age groupers but they were never getting near her level tri wise.

All depends on the swim imo.
If anywhere near the top few in the last 3rd of the bike I can’t see him not winning.
Although I think his 70.3 performance(s) have been over hyped a bit. Not saying not great, serious impressive, just over hyped.

I guess the short course swimmers will be out of the water first again, I’ve looked at the field and don’t follow it enough to recognise many of them, shame there’s only about 2 Brits?

Rico Bogen, I think he can do the double if Hyden doesn’t make the front swim pack. Rico will be out of the water first or at the very least top 5 if the groups that big. Rico will be front pack unless something extremely strange happens.
