I was looking at a panned back shot - the trees are all lined up, some are interspersed at geometric intervals…a bit Italian but also a bit eerie.

Yeap. If it was an full Kat would probably win.
Taken 36 sec back in 5.5km. (~70s in 10km) Kat still fastest on course and has been for all the run so far. Hope nothing goes wrong. Good for the series win atm, just needs to finish.

It was 61 to 81km that last hill where she took 2 minute plus that made the difference. It was within a possibility before that.
Kat has pulled back nearly 2 mins by half way through the run

Exactly they would be shoulder to shoulder now without that 61 - 81km surge on the bike.
