Pro race chat (Tri)

I wouldn’t expect a large group to chase down 6 guys 90s to 2 mins up the road. I don’t know if he tried but his best hope was probably soloing off the front straight out of T1. His swim and bike will improve as the year goes on. As H says, he just needs to score points for now. Same for Wilde.

Beaugrand ran 14:40 for 5K this week and set a French national record, impressive that, looked like either a track meet or some kind of paced attempt at it.

The running at the top level of tri is really something else now.

Is anyone interested in T100 any more?

Love following Pro Tri Athlon but T100 have screwed it up with split events Male / Female.

Bentley and Hauser have crashed, not in the same crash btw.

Yee had got to within 6 seconds of the front but now 26s back

I think Yee wanted the broadcast free because he’s going to tear the field a new one

26s back halfway on the bike

It is going to blow out to 45 - 60 seconds by the look of it.

Well another crash didn’t help.

Has Yee got the illness that is going about, he is going backwards fast.

Conway first Brit

Apparently Yee knackered his ankle in the swim recce the day before. DNF for Yee.

On a short clip from the weekend I noticed that Beth Potter has her sunnies on the top tube to deal with later rather than in the chaos of T1. It’s the simple things that all add up. :+1:

Ali Brownlee was back fell racing at Otley last night and still representing Bingley Harriers

Over the top with a clear lead so clearly still fast!

Not fast enough though, he lost out in the sprint finish and was 2nd

Obvs can’t descend :joy: it didn’t actually say the result, just that he was first at the top :man_shrugging:t2:
