Looks a bit wet in Hamburg!

It was 35c for us, a bit chilly for Jorgan :cold_face::joy:

I didn’t see yesterday’s race but he withdrew from the WTCS race last weekend due to illness.

Makes sense. He was 5 mins down in T2. Made up 90 seconds but that was too big a gap

Just watching the T100 now. Fogot it was on and do not care much.

Only watching because its not the Hayden show and it is free.

Skipper in for IM Austria tomorrow, says he’s been working on his swim and it has improved but feels like it’s a bit late in his career for that. Still be good to see how he goes and hopefully get a Kona slot.

Hopefully he doesn’t. And realises his sell by date has expired. Then retires.

He had a good few years, but has been surpassed by athletes with pedigree.

Same for Sanders.

The days of journeyman pros seem to have gone.

Remember Pete Jacobs?

6:50 down out of the swim which didn’t seem too bad until him lost a further 1m10s in T1

From all his you tube stuff and online presence, never seemed to have a plan, a direction. Was “I’m doing threshold most days because……” I said early on he needed a proper swim coach and daily poolside help, not just swimming with his mate every day, then with a strong bike/run there’s no telling what he could have achieved. Always came across as having a bit of fun but wasted potential. When he started those stupid videos with that other clown I switched off following his exploits totally.

Skipper could have qualified at South Africa in April but had to leave before the ceremony, so lost his slot, let’s hope he’s adjusted his travel plans for Austria. He’ll have to get a top 2 though, and was 8 mins down coming out of T1, not impossible I suppose.

It is probably going to have to be all on the run, he was losing time on the bike then holding and now losing time again, nearly 10 minutes now.

Zac Cooper came out of the water behind him and is now 2:12 ahead.

That is enough of that, time for some bike training (me not Skipper.)

Did Skipper drop out? No tracking after 7.7k of run.

It would appear so but you normally get an n/a like Zack Cooper.

So I’d guess he has pulled out but not told the officals or they havent reported it back.

Yeap, Pro engine, but not professional in any other respect. (School boy stuff)

I recently saw a few different post about the team and support around you, the higher your get to more you need a great team to support you.

LCB is a classic example.

Maybe he is just having fun.

I think I’ve spotted @fatbuddha in the background of a mates Insta story at Quiberon.

Looks a pretty impressive line up for today’s race. Typical Breton weather for the day too.
