True
You’re #3 and that’s only because you don’t have pets.
I think the new paino has the number 3 spot.
I wouldn’t call this guy out. Instead I would talk about how I do 32x 25m off 9.5s and how my Z1 run for 47 mins gets me 154TSS. Maybe even go as far as have a training camp on Elevenerife as Tenerife was too easy.
That’s one for “Dan” i think rather than my own ID
Rays blocked me or deleted his post
this is the interaction for context , I particularly like "its only 26second per 50 NBD . Some of our best U16’s couldn’t do that from the blocks!
If you troll him like that, you know he’ll Google you for IM Results.
Someone needs to call him out further
I want to say “No wonder you DNF so many races on the run if you are doing 153 TSS on a 49minute recovery session”
Lets take a sweepstake on this Guy’s first IM
“Im doing my first Ironman in April. The South African Championships. My goal is sub 10… I had some promising results over the weekend as I slowly keep building in my final block before April 21st… I did a 4hr ride completing 127km (31.7km/ph)… I save my PBs for races and try not to go all out in training. I ended up running a PB 5km @ 22min and a PB 10km at 46min and ended up with a total time of 1:43 for the half, smashing my previous pb of 1:56 in December (although this was in the first half of my full marathon so I was holding back on the front 21k. My total time for my first marathon was 4:11. I was on track for a 3:45 but miscalculated my sodium intake and started cramping in the last 10k. I know very well with a proper taper I can easily go under 1:40 for a 21k and 3:30 for a full.”
I recon he will struggle to break 13 hours, or will DNF when he spectacularly blows up
Looks like he just took the post down, the replies were very polite, but had a common theme
Raymondo again
“Hold your Coaching very accountable,
I’ve completed the sub 10 hour journey with my very first Ironman 30 years ago in 9:49:49
I’ve also completed the sub 9 hour Ironman journey 9 years ago, many times over and most recently in 2019.”
Sorry 99% of all coaches who have not done a sub 9hr IM, you are not accounable and are therefore worthless
I did make a comment, @Hammerer I am sure you have something to add to his post
Can someone take this guy off IMJ, he is giving all coaches a bad name
He won’t be anywhere near a sub-10. Those numbers are similar to mine when I did my 1st one in Switzerland (Zurich) which as you know had a bit of a lumpy bike which ain’t easy. I did 13:09 which I was well happy with.
And a very respectable time
His run is about where I was when I stopped tri. I’m a bit quicker but there or thereabouts. (I.38 HM and 3.38 Mara two years later), my 5 and 10km was quicker though.
Assuming not Tenby, my bike would have been quicker and there is no bloody way on my best day that I’d be bothering 10hrs and 12.00 would be pretty friggin safe as well
With a sea swim and very unpredictable wind in PE. Let me guess he also wants to do his first Comrades in under 9 hours
Why can’t people just be humble.
Such a good response
When I did my 10:00, I ran 1:28 off the bike in my HIM build up, and Century training rides in under 5h. He’s nowhere near it.
I ambushed him.
BOTH BARRELS
I can’t imagine him in a functioning relationship.
Looks like he took the post down after some pushback
