Although my personal favourite is John giving Hayden running advice on a video post made by Ironman on their 70.3 facebook page

It didnt go anywhere. Disappointed.

I had a 40% one… should I post “yes theres one for 40%” [end.]

It was BCGOLD40 at one point, or similar, British Cycling Gold membership (not the medal), the 20% was Silver20

Did Wilde even make sure his blood was in the right place, as he got out the swim? Big rocks first!

Dev_Paul reckons he heard a rumour at the Taupo banquet that the 2026 70.3 WC is coming to …

Swansea

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

That’s not a slur against Swansea BTW, the GF’s niece is from there but I just don’t see it as a WC venue

I think that is an extension of (previous rumour) it being added to the Pro-series.

It would be in its 5th year, not totally unbelievable. Better chance than Blackpool.

Sam Long’s posting on ST…but it’s a really boring conversation about finances. So I’m behaving.

More believable for a Pro series venue than a WC, could be but I think it might head back to the US or Asia

Already confirmed as Pro-Series in 2025 as I posted. I can see the logical progression.

US then Wales.

Really good venue for the swim and run.

Bike is a great course (this year) but too many animals on course on the moors, :sheep: :cow2: and :racehorse: :horse:. I had to stop twice for cows and horses.

Didnt know where to put this, but nonsense on the interwebs and IMJ seem linked  This ad popped up on Faceache. Someone needs to let them know what carbs are and how to count calories a bit better. Must be at least double that. And whats a smoothie bowl

It’s similar to when some mental giant says they are giving up carbs and eating more veggies.

I do that a lot, have high protein, high fat low carb days. Things like eggs, beans and toast. Tuna sandwiches, spag bol. Love low carb

I like the Dry January thread.

As in…

“I’m doing dry January but Im not starting until the 5th Jan”

“I’m in. I’ll start on the 9th and end Feb 8th as Ive stated late”

“I will do it, but I am drinking on xxth January, my wedding anniversary”

Etc.
