“Form” goggles are the latest, FFS learn to swim before evening considering spending time looking at a HUD in a £200 pair of goggles.
I sometimes think I’m the only developer / IT bod in history who is a luddite, but Im not a luddite, I just hate tech for techs sake.
Yeah seeing Form Goggles being pushed all over the place now 
I quite like the idea of HUD goggles, but they cost more than my Swedish pair which were under £3. Then again, to improve my swim literally all I need to do right now is actually go swim a bit. Even 2x a week for 1500m will help from where I am right now.

TBF, I rejoined Facebook simply for my cycling club; as we arrange rides via it (you can still book onto a ride using email/SMS if you wish to!)
