My Wahoo displayed -5degC a few times but the bypass I went up & down was thankfully well gritted.
130km today in the vF500 on the Evo base ride.
Hoping for similar tomorrow and 100k Monday evening to get me on my way.
Another few miles tapped out today while the weather is reasonable. Not the cleverest route, but I caught the tail end of the sunrise again.
Nice work
Got a cheeky 40km in around the local lanes with a friend this afternoon.
Great to be outside
Especially with some grim weather for the next few days.
I did a similar distance and it was good to blow away the cobwebs
I’ve scraped to about 223k so far but losing interest, particularly if I get out for a run tomorrow. Not sure about another 7 hours, but I’ve made it this far.
Forecast isn’t great so not sure how often I’ll actually get out on the real bike.
And I think I can feel a few aches coming on
But it’s stopping from just sitting and eating!
Yeah that’s what I’m doing.
Did get out for a 1 mile walk in the rain and wind with two miserable kids. That’s the extent of my exercise over the past 2 days. With much wine drinking and crisp eating.
I’d say you’ve done pretty well so far.
I’ve got to have some big rides in the next few days to get on top of it
Yes, I’d say you are winning here (fat lad
)
That’s a standard 8pm - 10pm at any time of year
236/500
Keep going
103km this morning to take me to a virtual 233km done so far.
Aiming for a group ride early tomorrow evening with a little either side to give me another 100km.
407/500.
Storm Bella had left her presence felt on the roads this morning.
I’m told that I’m scheduling in a rest day tomorrow & hopefully finishing off on Tuesday.
Ride 2 in the bank.
Set off at 0740 in a bit of sleet.
Continued for about an hour, before 3 hours of gloriously freezing sunshine and what felt like a constant headwind 🤷🏼
Sorry if this has been posted already.
We watched this as a family this week, it took us all a while to remove our jaws from the floor.
I’d have been launching my bike into the damn lake/river at those mud tracks and fallen trees
Watched it yesterday, really enjoyed it.
Oh dear!
40 miles away & we’ve got nothing like that. It looks settled for a while as well
