WHY THOUGH?!?!?
Don’t ask me, I didn’t watch it, just saw something on a thumbnail.
You literally discussed it a few posts up
I can’t remember which day he’s on - something like 70 - they all blur into one.
Looks to have great accompanying support across all 3 disciplines & lots of well wishers on the side of the course.
Weirdly, he always seems to be at the front on bike leg & not drafting.
Ortlieb have designed a pasta box that clips onto his cockpit so he can eat on the go…German engineering, eh?
In Feb? You give me too much credit for having a functioning memory!
That’s basically - ‘what haven’t I done yet but would like to do and then combine it into an event’
Can’t believe Jonas Deichmann is on day 97. It’s actually been quite fun following him on insta. He has such a relaxed, positive personality. The weather is scorching here at the moment, 34C yesterday…although it probably reminds him of running through the desert in Mexico.
I have no doubt he’ll complete the 120. Don’t want to jinx it, but he’s making it look easy😊
It’s great isn’t it
He’s stayed relatively healthy, strong & avoided crashes - unlike some helping out community support has been outstanding
Different level.
Rait Rattasep’s Deca Ironman under 100 hours is pretty special.

Rait is just on a different level.
Definitely.
I just hadn’t heard anything about it. I know that sub-10 is a pretty special achievement based on the number of pretty handy athletes on here who have targeted it in the past. To do it on 10 consecutive days is outstanding.
In 2021 he did 60 consecutive ironmans, I think he averaged sub 11hr. It was just amazing to follow. On the last day he ran a 3:15 marathon…just astounding
As mentioned on the @Toyota_Crown 200IM thread I’m following Dave Clamp doing a Triple Deca Continuous in Italy.
Try wrapping your head around this.
He’d already swam 55km.
These guys are built different.
FTFY
bluddy ell was he originally doing a continuous Triple Deca
he luvs the 1-a day format. will smash it. Somewhat annoyingly!!, he’d had a bike smash just before the (last?) one that Jozsef Rokob won. (~10 yrs ago)
Day 120 for Jonas Deichmann. He’s been pretty damn remarkable throughout this entire challenge.
Geschafft , but his food is now covered in gold confetti
