I bought a Timex Triathlon watch only 4 months ago and it is already showing signs of condensation in it after swimming.
This one:
I bought it from Amazon but actually it was from Timex
Has anyone else had the same issue ?
And what was the attitude of Timex ? Did they replace it ?
Has anyone got any suggestions of watches which might be more reliable ? I don’t want a huge watch (like the Timex Ironman) but I do want one with front stop watch buttons.
My old Timex Marathon watches lasted for years under the same use, but you can’t buy them any more !
Just contact Amazon, they’ll refund you. Try looking at one of the many Garmin forerunner watches, they’ll be one in their range that should suit your needs.

I did contact Amazon and expected them to fob me off because the warranty was a “manufacturer” one, but upon getting through to one of their customer service staff (which wasn’t too onerous, other than having to talk to a computer for a while…) they have sent me a returns label.

Amazon are generally quite good with returns etc… like you say, you just have to get hold of an actual human.

Some pools allow “soft” glove type ones.

The soft gloves are OK but not as good. Be great if finis or speedo made a silicone edged paddle, I reckon that would be fine.
My Speedo Biofuse paddles have silicon edges
