Alaphilippe, front wheel completely jammed, wouldn’t rotate, even mechanic couldn’t get wheel out with power tool or allen key. Ended up with bike change.
Well that gap closed quickly!

Joking. You obviously wouldn’t power the front wheel, and Alaphilippe is literally the last rider that would ever use a motor. I love that man!!!

great to see the chat in the peloton when Astana came back 
He saved it but I feel he still had some control to avoid the road sign. He did do well though.

The peleton decided itself to neutralise on a slippery wet descent and ride carefully, and did so happily until Astana decided to just ride off the front…
