A mate just bought a Hammer and Tongs bike from Pearson and loves it.
@Poet the reason why that type of kit isn’t liked is because nothing screams “look at me” louder

Mostly indoor as I want to be alive after the ride and if I do ride outside it’s by myself so who cares.
The new endurance stuff is supposed to be brill but crazy money!

I got a cheapo pair of PX bibs after a recommendation elsewhere on here, really impressed with the pad.
Rapha pads are hit and miss, Brevet are good but others less so. Assos tend to be my favourite, couldn’t get away with others for some reason.
Bit like saddles, very person specific.

Galibier, Castelli and Ale for me. Like all of them, and they seem to fit pretty well. My original cheap pair of PX ones are awful. They’re so thick and uncomfortable.
The Castelli bibs are my faves, and my Stolen Goat jersey actually.

I recently threw out my very old Assos shorts and they were great but I am not overly keen on their jerseys so go with castelli as their shorts are very good and like enough of their jerseys.

I really like my Stolen Goat stuff. Originally found them because I wanted a thin, long sleeve top for early morning commutes, have since added their water repellent jacket but it is hardly ever cold enough to wear it! And some warmer bibs that are comfortable too.
But I have a real mix. Castelli climbers jersey for really hot days. No Pinz short sleeve top and bibs when I’m feeling fast. PX bibs and some old kit from a previous club, Zone3 tri-shorts for the turbo or riding to Parkrun.
And I have loads of Zwift jerseys, does that count?

Lusso shorts or Huub tri shorts for me, and Endura tops or zone 3 tri top. When I wear gloves it’s Assos and when I wear socks some cheap old DHB.

Stolen Goat jersey is great, I’ve got a Lusso top which is good for proper long rides as the pockets are great.
Castelli have definitely changed their fit as I just got a new one and it was too big in my normal size.
No issues with anyone wearing team kit, most of it is pretty decent these days (well maybe not AG2R brown shorts or the World Champs white shorts)
