Got back into some light training last week after holidays and A-level debacle.
The result - 1.9kg weight gain from 94.0kg to 95.9kg. FFS!!!
Birthday and bank holiday coming up this week so I suspect September will have to be knuckle down month and the rowing machine might make a reappearance.
Managed to survive 24hrs with no biscuits, chips, err crisps and no fizzy drink. I’m not a ‘weigh yourself every day’ type but I was curious, so pleased to see 87.3 this morning.
Small bowl of porridge and a banana so far today. Having a sore throat helps 'cos I can’t taste anything anyway!
Intermittent fasting while I’m injured. Still eating the same calories.
Some wright lose will probably be muscle wasting.

86.5 this morning, heading into my 5th day of no junk. The scales say I’m doing well but I’m struggling mentally. I am smashing a lot of pistachio nuts!
I’m sure somebody else is to blame for my junk food largess but I can’t help feeling a little responsible.
80.4
Cake season has taken me back up over 80kg even as my biggest weeks hit, had the last sluce this morning so expect to fall again next week.
01/09/20 – 12 st 11.6 lbs / 81.5 kg – Just a 2 lbs / 0.9 kg loss in the month.
But the main positive for me is that I’ve now been under 13 stone for 3 months running.
Which is the lightest I’ve been since at least 2014, if not before.
Cheers, Paul.
I will weigh in tomorrow as I’m still in Somt but the last couple of days, safe to say that wagon rolled on without me!
Bit more of a boozy weekend than normal for me, so a slight rise. Whereas i was trending towards low/mid 71s now i’m firmly mid/high 72 again. Not a huge difference, but certainly caused by beer/wine. Visibly just sits on my tummy as well.
96.6kg - heaviest I’ve been since lockdown started in March.
My birthday always falls on or around the bank holiday so I tend to celebrate over the weekend and didn’t do any training after Wednesday.
Time to knuckle back down and make September count before the weather worsens and the dark nights come. Rowing machine may even make a re-appearance at lunchtimes.
Mornings and evenings are noticably darker right now. It makes me sad.

As suspected, not pretty. Back up to 87.4!
70.5
All this short hard stuff makes me really hungry ?!
Breathing seems to make me hungry
Harder you breath… more you eat…?!
No ?
68.4
Really having to fight the devil when the temple wants to join the missus for a glass of wine/shit food each eve at start of week as I always have 4 days off then 3 days on. So far, successful.
This is getting silly now, thought I had a decent week but went up to 97.3kg (from 96.4) which is virtually where I started the year and all the progress during lockdown is gone.
89.5 again this morning. Feeling much better after losing 10kg, riding and running better but still need to shift around 8/10kg more. Have months to do that though now, no immediate rush to get it off, training consistently is #1 on the agenda now so hopefully it will happen steadily.
