The 2020 weigh-in thread

Still hovering between 79 and 80kg. Not great at my height.

Managing to hold at 89KG, but give the amount of Frozen party food we have amassed that’s unlikely to hold for much longer.

How did this end up for you?

(Or anyone who tried an “8hr feeding window”)

I thought 16 was too long personally
But lots have done this with good/ big results.

It’s just a habit I guess eat 8 am till 4, personally I think 10/ 14 is better but I don’t need to lose any weight … yet.

Isn’t that just a normal day, 10 hours fasting? You’ll incur Poet’s wrath on fasting soon

15 hours is 5 o’clock tea
8 o’clock breakfast so I guess.

I’ve been brought up on supper ( all my family do it ) and yes when I miss supper meal ( 200 - 300 cals or so) I lose weight very easily.

The biggest benefit of 16:8 is no snacking into the evening where it’s really easy to add 300-400 kcal on after you’ve eaten dinner.

100% it works really well, I was amazed how much crap you can eat in 8 hours and not put weight on!

you’re doing 16-8 wrong, 2pm to 10pm leaves plenty of snacking time in the evening!

If I’m not training I can imagine a 10am-6pm feeding window working, but when you train 2-3 times a day you need breakfast as well so I’d say 8am-6pm is the minimum I could do.

I’m wondering if anyone here saw success and how long before they quit it.

My wife cooks dinner late is the other problem, like 8pm.

I know it’s very rare that I train 2-3 times a day now, although I still do doubles, but I’ve not eaten breakfast for years (other than when hungover) never have had a problem with high volume and compressed eating. Although if I rode first, I would eat on the bike from early.
