Number 1, you’re a better athlete than I’ll ever be.

That said, check out this podcast:

I don’t agree with it all, but some useful bits about hitting the snooze button (The Chimp Paradox is better, in my opinion, but still an easy model to digest).

It’s 100 miles along the canal network :joy::joy::joy:
It’s 6-7km to the office from the station, so an easy run there and back :+1:t3:
Just backpack, clothes, laptop etc :face_vomiting:

@Whisk - I’m aiming for:

2 x 4km dog walks (8am and 6pm)
3 x 7-8km jogs (7am, midday, 5pm)

An Ian Thorpe trick, set your alarm for 1min after you want, ie 6.01. I actually find it helps mentally with not pressing snooze

That’s a Peter Kay trick. Ian Thorpe was a massive fan of Phoenix Nights :white_check_mark:

This was a joke, btw :joy:
I just recall Peter Kay saying it in one of his stand-up routines.
If I set an alarm; it’s always for something like 0553, 0607 or the like.

Anyways, run three done.
No pre-Zwift today, as I spent too long looking at holiday cottages :face_with_peeking_eye:

We liked the place we stayed in in Ripon before Christmas so much that we’ve booked another week in June :rofl:

I’m booking the same place in Keswick on the same dates :joy::face_with_peeking_eye::joy:

Everywhere lets dogs in, it’s all walkable. Parkrun, Lattrigg, boat trips.

What more do you need?

Errrr variety.

Sunshine? Quality food? Culture?

And I was born in Leeds so I’m allowed to postulate that Yorkshire lacks all three of the above.

will have a go next year :+1:

Any month with 31 days will do…

I did not channel APM this morning. Got to get it in after I’m home now.

Day three done :white_check_mark:. The 420 odd mile drive back home was a bit of a drain but I’m pleased I got out and did it - if anything this challenge will at least get me out and moving
