That sled push was just crazy ..!
Several lpeople podiumed / won there age groups .. and there trackers were faulty so they got dq”d !

Following on from someone I know winning the HYROX World Champs in 70-74, someone else I know quite well, won the female British Championships at the Stihl Timbersports event last w/e. This is basically sawing and chopping timber using axes, chainsaws and cross cut saws.
She also set a new World Record in the stock saw discipline - as per photo. Simply - don’t argue with Rachel!

It’s got Trans World Sport Written all over it. I did used to enjoy that show. Taught me everything I needed to know about many an obscure sport.
It’s still going as well - no idea what channel though.

Was speaking to a 23yr old a few months ago who was just back from India & he was stunned that I knew what he was talking about when he mentioned he’d been to a Kabaddi tournament.

I’ve never heard of that but we had a program in Oz called ‘Wide World of Sport’ which was very similar. It was hosted by Max ‘Tangles’ Walker (one for the cricket bods)
I remember watching ‘cup stacking’ one week.
