As others have said, a time of mixed emotions for sure.
But there is nothing you have been given financially that you didn’t earn (the hard way).
Hope this helps you draw a line under one (large) part of your life.

Mrs FB got a message from the docs last week to call to arrange a flu vax so we dropped in today as I had to pick up my repeat script anyway. Booked for 19/10.
While there we asked about shingle vax as we now qualify but they’re still waiting for details on roll out of that. Similar with Covid booster - have to wait for the call for that.

I had a few private messages over the last few months.
Most were offering support in several different ways, some hinted that they were suffering too.
Some dark days in the summer this year, but tri talk was one of the resources that helped at times.
Now the dust has settled I feel that Iv”e 100% done the right thing and was lucky not to be sacked in the last 12-18 months.
Sad but true.
I feel positive for the future.
