I’d actually consider that a bonus and god acting in mysterious ways :joy:

I’ve been very under the weather for the last three weeks. Did a covid test but just a normal, heavy cold that then developed into an eye infection. As a result I have barely moved in that time and done a lot of eating. Going to use the next few weeks to try and get moving again.

Hello old timers :older_man::wave:. Mind if I join you? :sob:

Got a few questions please. Assumed I’d wake up this morning instinctively knowing the answers, but it hasn’t happened yet.

  1. Garden centres. Why?
  2. What to look for in that bungalow?
  3. When do you start lusting after a Honda Jazz?
  4. Best place for first cruise?

Thankyou. There may have been a few more, but I have forgotten them.

oh I know what the other question was: where’s the nearest gents toilet?

Happy birthday @fruit_thief ! Good to have you aboard.

For some reason, my mum and dad went on a Saga cruise in their mid 50s. They were somewhat perturbed by the fact that at every port stop they would be carrying a corpse off the boat. Never went again. :no_good_man:t2:

Garden centres? It’s all about the cafes. :bacon: :fried_egg:

Yes, never give up the opportunity to go to the loo.

Enjoy!

Happy birthday @fruit_thief :birthday:

This has been a positive start to the day. I’m a quarter of the way through my 50’s and haven’t visited a garden centre, live in a full size house, haven’t lusted after anything with 4 wheels, not been cruising, do not need stair assistance, or wear big boy pull-ups, still tie my shoes that go with my fixed waist troos, sit on a bean bag, wear bright clothes and can still hold water like a camel. I don’t even tut at folk wearing a hat indoors :slightly_smiling_face:

If only I could remember what I came into this room for :man_shrugging:

Happy birthday fruity :birthday: and welcome to the cool kids club :sunglasses:

Your #1 google maps search will be for the nearest toilet :joy:

Garden centres are for the cafe, and always say no to a Honda Jazz :joy:

Just off to check Strava for that 50*50

Im only 49, i must have had a tough paper round

Was chatting to a mate other day, he is 56, we were commenting how fit and healthy we are compared to our parents. We still properly exercise, even quite well if you compare with 95% of people our age and not GB or Fruity. My dad was out of breath climbing stairs at my age, certainly wasnt able to swim or ride a bike with me, or kick a football as i do with my son
