I’ve taken a lot of shit for my ‘sail’ bottle pouch on the rear of my saddle over the past few days.
My rear disc currently has a corsa fitted. At least I wouldn’t have had to ruin my cleats eh

That’s very good point and the key point for me will be the recovery between races. My schedule is looking like a race either running/TT/Duathlon every 2 weeks through to the end of July.
Looks ace
Bloody Wales!
Mrs GB says it always rains in Wales.
Did she ride it?
I would have sulked off back to the car!
I think she managed two laps of three before it was cancelled which was incredibly impressive. On my Strava feed there are pictures of bruised arms from hail. God knows how noisy it was inside their helmets.
Biblical conditions
Wow, been caught in weather like that but have never started a race, would have sacked for sure.
Most miserable was a 100, utterly biblical from about 50 miles. Ground my way to the end, utterly frozen and miserable, then at 98 miles smashed into a pothole hidden in an across the road flood. Double pinch flats front and rear. Only had one spare tube.
Cold walk back to HQ, was going to walk past the finish to get a time but someone who passed must have alerted the organisers who sent a rescue car out.
Happy that my position looks a bit better. That number pinning though! That’s why @Adam beat me by 3 minutes.
Great photo but ruined by that number pinning crime.
I saw that. Absolutely shocking!!
I would like to apologise to everyone on this thread for this abhorrent failure. I will make sure my skin suit is serviceable for my next outing. Very poor.
Cheers. . Might take a drill to my arm pads and bring them in a bit more.
Froze my nuts off at the club 10 tonight, about 10c with a cold NE wind which was behind us for the first 2K but the last 2K was a slow motion death march on a slight drag and crap tarmac , it was absolute misery in the last 4 minutes!
Only used the Enigma and scraped 26:38.
But, somehow managed 304W AP. Well pleased with that as it’s at least what I’ve been doing for 20 minutes on the wattbike, and more than I’ve put out on the Propel, I think the position on this bike suits me more.
That gives me an FTP of ~290W.
Despite my HRV being 3 this morning and suggesting rest, weird that. It did hurt though, a lot!
B10/43 Sunday. Quite a few local testers are pitching up, quite like to go well in this. Easy Saturday, and pray for better conditions than my 22:35 a month ago same course.
PB is a mid 21.
Hoping for 21:xx.
Tandem Tricycle on the A25/34 this afternoon - we’re first off if it stays dry. First time out on a DC. Hoping to beat the hour, don’t yet know if we have enough gearing - I’ve got a low cadence monster as a stoker.
Tandem trike, what an awesome bit of kit. Good luck. It really is a ‘could be fine, could be a deluge’ sort of day.
If you get any, could you pop a picture or two of this up? I’m intrigued by such a set up.
I like Gavin Hinxman’s (?) trike. Super aero, and double rear disc. The rumble echoes between the two rear discs to make it sound awesome.
