Woah that came around quick Doug. When/where are you starting?

It’s a rolling start by expected race time, so on Saturday I’ll probably start around 9am, Sunday 8am.
Route follows the North Down way from Sands (near Guildford) to Redhill (and back the other way on Sunday)

Happy with that not far off my fastest time and I was taking it steady (unlike my fastest time where I pushed it and suffered on the second day).

Conditions helped, pretty decent underfoot, not a lot of mud (or snow or floods).

Let’s see how tomorrow goes, weather doesn’t look as good, showery and a strong headwind.

Surprisingly we must have missed the worst of the weather, started with a bit of rain, nothing heavy, then dried up and the sun came out, Wind picked up later, but most of the trail is fairly sheltered so wasn’t a probelm.

Finished in 6:36 and felt like there was a lot left in the tank.
