They just did that last week. It’s a beast of a route. But much more manageable over 3 days.
I don’t plan to in the immediate future. If I was going to give it a go I’d get Justin to go all in to guide me for a sub 24 attempt. He did it last year on the 2nd or 3rd time of trying. It’s brutal.
Just got back from supporting mates at the lakeland 100/50 - most of last night and this morning it was absolutely chucking it down, but soon got hot and sunny - Saw first and second females ( Robyn and Lucy) making it look very easy - its going to be a long night for some of them , but great to see so much determination.
Might also book myself in for the Thursday night as well - realised from our trip to Woolacombe that it is a hell of a drive from Manchester - a 6 hr drive on the Friday followed by a Friday evening start might not be the best prep
Sea to Sky Ultra this weekend - 53km from Barmouth including a trip up Cadair Idris
Yes he’s trying it out as a bit of a pilot. Only recently decided. Good way to pick up the whole section of CP in parts. It’ll likely be very low numbers for first year. But easy enough to logistically as they go off with the 110milers.
Makes for a bit more atmosphere for the earliest start as well.
