I attempted it in 2023 and it was the first official year of the Hatchling course, I’ve got to say that while being disappointed not to be able to complete the full course the Hatchling option was fantastic and I had an amazing week, still bloody tough though, especially as it was the ‘hot’ year.
Seeing your pictures leaving Conwy has given me the shivers!!!

I thought I’d do my pics on the recce to save a few seconds on the race, as I might be racing the cutoffs.
I’ve now booked on one of the official recces of the technical bits on day 1 as I know I lost the route up Tryfan.

So averaging 12.4kmh
With 5000m+ of ascent/descent
