Arrived and registered, bumped into an old work colleague in the queue. He is running the Xtreme as his first ultra.

Weather looks wet and windy for much of the morning, a bit more showery in the afternoon.

Glad you had a good day out, shame we didnā€™t see each other somewhere out there.

I had a good race, finished under my 13hr target and with enough in the tank to keep going, managed not to tweak my ankle which is also a plus.

Has anyone seen the posts on Social Media about UTMB Snowdonia . Seems they have now changed the courses specifically the 100km race which has now gone from 6000m to 4000m of ascent missing out all the good bits like Glyders and Eryri - there are some very pissed off people commented about it online ( and with good reason).
