Yep, I think their medical staff are very good but it’s a very broken system, we’re probably to used to our mostly free healthcare.
Although I do purchase the ITRA insurance that covers being airlifted on top of my travel insurance.
Anyway, trying not to make this the political thread. Hope he’s recovering

Watching UTMB and loving it.
But also watching Phil Gore. He set himself a challenge to do 168 back yards ultra laps which is basically a week of continuous running!!! Looks like about 10 mins go he has has just called it at 152 laps. That’s basically 1020kms or 634 miles of running over 6 days with very little sleep. Just insane

Just back from our afternoon run in Chamonix - just in time to see Blandine run through the streets - the Frenchies absolutely loving her
Got the cable car to the first stage of the Aigulle du Midi and then ran along (the balcon nord?? @fatbuddha will be able to correct me if I am wrong on that) to Montveners to see the Mer de Glace and then down to Chamonix
220m of up. 1480m of down - quad killer for Mrs T who hasn’t yet recovered from the run to St Gervais 2 days ago - I might not be the most popular when she wakes up in the morning and tries to walk
