Delicious with a pan fried skate (done in butter) and some potato fondant

77k on the bike, planned to take it relatively easy, certainly feel like I’ve got more miles in my legs, not so sure it would total 103k though. Found myself on the Commonwealth Road Race course at one point, luckily they’ve taken out the speed bump and traffic calming road narrowing bits.

This morning, 3x1 minute at the track, resting 2 minutes. 6:38 average pace, which I’ll take.

After work, gentle 20 minute spin.

Sweetspot intervals.

Did them at the inter club TT - 1 x 20’ and then 1 x 27’ for the TT. Came last - easy way to do the intervals though

39 mile :biking_man: :dash: loop up the crow road and back, all in.

Feel better and better on this thing. Love confounding motorists by sprinting off at 28mph :grinning:

I feel gooOOOD baby :sunglasses:

Couple of pints last night…

Was planning a double run day today or an interval run, but wonder if I’m pushing it too much. Right leg feels tight in a few places. Hmm. Maybe warm up and see how it seems.

30 mins static swim drills in the jacuzzi, looking like a full blown simpleton.

Needed a simple stupid easy ish session as gone up a touch effort wise this week.

First century ride of the year, to Brighton and back. Picked up a rider from Japan who was riding the same route as us, as his shakedown ride for the London-Edinburgh-London audax, which starts on Sunday. Really struggling with the hills at the moment, so really wise decision to plan a route up Ditchling Beacon. Weather was stunning. Car drivers were stunningly awful.

Ooh where did you stop? Those chips look good.

If I can tolerate an alarm I was thinking about a Brighton run tomorrow
