Training - What Training?!

Pretty quiet week for me last week. 61/2 hours

Couple of rides, one very hungover run and finally back in the pool. Christ that was grim.

Back at it now, fingers crossed for a dry commute home and back in the pool tonight.

…and that’s why you think doing 354km of swimming a year is unimaginable

Exactly; he’s only held back by the limitations in his head!

Well, this day last year I was on 86CTL; currently today I’m at 90, and more by this evening hopefully.

So that’s a bonus.

I’m sure they used those woodlands for a scene in ā€˜The Punisher’ :upside_down_face:

What you said.

Managed to keep things ticking over fairly well including a muddy/hilly run on New Year’s Day morning.
Swim - 1hr - 2300m
Bike - 3.5hrs - 75km (40km on the MTB)
Run - 2.75hrs - 23km
No commuting miles but back to work today; jeez, how dark was it this morning!

My Garmin says I’m being productive again, my legs probably disagree

I think it will be a while before I get ā€˜Productive’ again; mainly because Connect doesn’t account for swimming unless you use a 945(?)

Haha, and assuming you do actually swim

It also doesn’t appear to account for Zwift workouts unless you connect your Garmin to the Trainer. I connect Zwift to my Garmin account, so it shows up in my workouts, but does not include them in training load as I do not connect a Garmin device. Basically this makes Garmin’s training load completely useless since it ignores quite a lot of activities. At least TP allows you to track your training load effectively

That’s why I use a Garmin when I do a Zwift session!

I used to use the Garmin, but found that when I used Both Zwift and Garmin, I would get dropouts on my Assioma’s (I think that this came up on a thread on the old site). Since then I have just been using Zwift on the Trainer and all works well.

I only got that when my various devices had different crank lengths logged (plus the Assioma App); but that shouldn’t affect Zwift.

I’m productive apparently. Think that’s because my baseline is so low as i only bought the watch a couple of months ago and have barely exercised in that time! haha
