I currently travel by bus. I live 8 miles away, it takes an hour door to door. I don’t like the bus, cramped, too hot/cold, lots of people with colds🤬

So your bus is averaging ~5:00/km pace :wink:

Yeah and no. The majority is white lined cycle lanes with a couple of miles segregated.

I’m on a recovery week this week. I’ve only ran 23kms so far and a complete rest day Sunday. Some S&C and a couple of short turbo sessions.

I was meant to run today but yesterday had a semi tight calf and having one of those ā€˜not feeling it’ days. Might do an easy 40 min on the turbo later.

Decided that my recovery weeks are exactly that. I think I break more easily these days. :laughing:

Back to 99CTL after a Zwift race and 5k brick run in the wind & rain.

I’m having a total CBA week, managed 6k on the treadmill on Tuesday because I wimped the hurricane and rain, and a 5k trot today.

Might have an early jog tomorrow but my groin is a bit sore and I’ve had aggro off it over the years :rage:

i’m super glad i made the most of WFH and popped out for a short jog at 9am this morning. It’s been absolutely minging since 11! Just picked up big kid from school and i thought she was going to blow away!

Looks like it’s supposed to stop raining for the weekend and be minus 2 instead!
I genuinely cannot remember the last time I rode my road bike. Brompton to work, couple of MTB rides and TT on the turbo but no road rides.

I’ve just done the school in the car. Not sure it’s training but it seemed hard work!

Just got back from my jog…I had a lovely clear first half hour, then horrific for the second half!
But I enjoyed it, felt super easy, too…even going into the wind at a relaxed pace.

15hrs 40mins in the past seven days (rolling) now :smiley:

I’m only back up to 92, and building back up steadily… theres a long way to go to my A race yet!.. done a couple of Zwift races this week, but have resorted to Zwift running too on the treadmill… ok for interval work I suppose, and the run races are not bad.

Did a hard-ish 20min turbo but heart wasn’t in it.
