Smashed into a pot hole hidden under a river after that one too.

Back to training tomorrow - after 5 days of solo childminding (only daytime, missus back by the evening!). Only a small matter of all the work that has also built up since Wednesday, but nevertheless roll on the 9.00am school drop off.
My garage had started flooding this morning. Not
Looked in since.
Wet,
Wet,
Wet.
6km easy in total, avoiding the worst of it.
Blimey @joex, you are centrally London!
He got the train in to get a pint
First week done !
11 hours
Pros
A really tough circuit with good results
4 x 1 hour turbos
My cold is going
Cons
My cold wrote off any thing remotely hard for 3-4 days in the middle of the week.
I’m realising Just how hard that circuit/ comp is going to be.
My right Achilles is tight after running ?!
Anyway onwards….
Week 1 done. First week in a long time where I’ve had some half decent numbers
12hr 35 overall
One token swim, nine hours cycling and three hours running
All pretty easy, so far managed to run and cycle every day, a couple of token 2km runs to keep the running every day in Jan streak going - todays was meant to be a short brick but I was soaked to the bone once I got off the bike!
12hrs 29mins cycling for me
386km
30.9kmh
Thanks Zwift
4hrs 31mins walking
16 hours (minimum) “exercise”
More than I did all of November
Well i just rode my bike. Outside. In real life.
There was wind and mud and potholes and cars and all sorts. I had to steer the bike and everything. What’s going on?
My bar tape and the straps of my helmet had gone mouldy as the shed is leaky and damp. So that was a nice first job before i got out!!!
Unlike Ralph there, i had a quick blast on Zwift.
After being denied the 18km Island Hopper badge yesterday, it awarded me it today.
Better than 64km round bloody France
Really looking forward to that tomorrow
goes to look at Dales Divide
5km treadmill run at lunch.
As 1.5km steady, 1km hard x2.
That and a 4 mile walk.
50 mins computrainering in the garage
20 mins with Adriene (day 14 of Flow)
Not sure if that was my first jog since October, or my first swim since November
15mins @ 5:31/km
So not even 5:00/km
1km treadmill
60 metre simulated sled push
1km treadmill
1000 metre row
1km treadmill
60 lunges with 20Kg (split into 4)
1km treadmill
60 wall balls with 6Kg (25-20-15)
Got to pool, can’t find goggles. Sitting in the cafe having a coffee and a slice of cake instead.
2023 training going excellently.
Missed the morning run in favour of sleeping, missed the lunchtime opportunity in favour of eating. Just the evening club run left…
Drinking?
It’s CICO time!
