Garmin threshold test.

New threshold pretty much like the old one 161bpm 5:31/km, don’t feel it fits with my races.

100.1km in 1-2° - took four hours, raging.
Did a few climbs ‘cos Box and Leith Hill yesterday wasn’t enough.

I reckon CardiB’s WAP is drier than I am :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Yeah I went out and did 55km cos it was dry and bright for the first time in about 2 weeks. Absolutely freezing and couldn’t wait to get home. First ride of the year and my legs were not happy about it :smile:

992 exercises completed, 8… yes 8 burpees short!

Way way up at 25 mins
But tuck jumps and burpees last !
Jelly legs starting 100 burpees is never a good sign.

I did another one of the Norseman workouts on zwift. Enjoying them so far. Dialed up the cool down for some more IMish power riding. Then tried a 15 sec max, intrigued as to how it would look after an hour session. Pretty crap is the answer! :joy:

Was gonna try a 1min max as well. But gave up after 30 secs! :joy: A lot harder to put out big Watts in the dumbo trainer. Feel horrible. Good job I don’t ever need to do that! :joy:

Saturday Barbell METCON, working on clean and jerks, with a particularly rough conditioning workout. I was soaked to the skin by the end. Then jumped on the erg bike for 20km average 200w. Nothing impressive. Sunday did a nice long stretch session and did a 21.5km run at 5min kms, my longest run since March '22 becuase of the various injuries. Groin survived!

@Mungo2 100 press ups in 3 mins?! Thats impressive! How long do you think it’ll take you to smash out 100 burpees?!

There last and straight after 100 tuck jumps?!
I had awful jelly legs starting but 92 in 6: 30 ish today.
90 degrees squat ( l00) before the tucks too, so legs are in a mess.

Going to alter the order slightly and try and get under 35 on weds in a pt session, it’s heavy work.

Right I am going in on TdZ Stage 3. 80s workout playlist on.

Just noticed the stitching that holds the ratchet strap of my SPDs has come away and its quite literarily hanging on by a thread. Wonder I can repair that as the rest of the shoes are in great condition

Early night for me. Had planned a swim but c’est la vie. Late night watching NFL playoffs taking their toll (think I fell asleep around 2:30. Which is actually just ridiculous)

Fell asleep at 5pm - lights out until 7pm! Rolled out of bed onto the turbo for 45mins eqsy before picking up my daughter - phew
