I find your combination of 21km, 1.36 and easy effort, quite depressing.
Yeah, but he’s a youngster init. Even I’ve got 10 years on him, and you…
*bare
You can fast all you want, just get the words right
It’s all relative. Nearly everyone has someone that makes them feel crap and slow! I’ve got a good ex-clubmate that i’m going to train with this year who can cruise up hills without breaking a sweat at a pace that’s burning me out on the flat!
113km 1,300m hilly ride.
Shame I abandoned due to the fog on the tops.
But I made up for it with an hour at 220W on the flat.
Whoops
You hit your TSS goal then!
A bit broken now though
I also noticed that I don’t need to be that quick up hills. If I take them within my zone, I can descend well enough (for a triathlon) and then perform to my watts on the flat.
IMUK has flat bits, right?
I believe transition might be
As my mate says for all his trail events (all very hilly) … “You’ll be fine, it’s flat on the flat bits”.
The swim’s very flat, yes.
Very little…!
It’s up it’s up or down, lots of 2-3% either way but still up and down.
All uphill
Well, I’ve started my hill training.
I even did a 4/5% effort on Tuesday, too
Just got to go east whenever I leave.
Headwind home
Wattbike scheduled this morning. Not happening, fcuking pile decided to say hello.
Bit annoyed as I’m off today and don’t usually get to train on a Friday.
24hrs rest now, until some riding over the weekend. Taking the day off commuting. I feel like I need it.
Numbers all trending upwards. If I’d kept my run up even remotely, overall CTL might be somewhere near respectable! Doubt I’d be able to bike as much if I was also running however. And I’m confident the run will come back fairly fast
Back at 102/3 here at the moment
Just realised I’ve not run one single metre in January. Probably only exceeded by the period post-acl reconstruction
Did a triathlon this morning
2.3km pool swim
15.5km gym bike
5km outdoor run
Back to back.
All done before 9am
Profamateur!
