Another Zwift race I treated as an FTP test. Remembered to do a 5 min easy warm up as this seems to work for me.
359W for 20min gives me new FTP of 343W up by 21W from last week! 4.4W/kg.
Absolutely over the moon. Increase of 113W in 3 months.
Just seen I’ve been moved up to Cat A
Moved up a group in the club run. Avg 347W instead of 317W, so about 10% harder being more descriptive than pace imo.
Followed that 4km jog up with an easy 9km stroll up to Easedale Tarn.
Then getting blown off our boards after a quick 400m paddle, so just ended up jumping off the jetty instead
5km jog down to Bowness and back up to Booths this morning I hate running hills
3.6km walk up to Latterbarrow from Hawkshead.

1.9km paddle out (and back) to Peel Island to jump off the rocks
Tried doing some press ups today - fark me, I have the upper body strength of a sparrow
I did 10 per min for 30 mins last night and 10 for 40 watching the mixed tt tonight?!

16km trail run, speed walking the hills Having so much fun with this style of running, it’s making me get silly ideas. Keep looking at a local ultra of 115km with 3000m vert. Hope walking 100km in September puts me off this stuff forever

5km treadmill run at lunch I’m 30 degree heat with no air flow.

1.6km paddle board out to an island … where some “young adults” were wild camping and smoking something smelly
