Animal. Warm up or cool down?
Or was that the whole hour?

Bloody hell 35!

Don’t tend to do warm ups anymore.
Just get in and swim.
Only tend to a couple of races and don’t get a chance to warm up, so use it as race simulation

Working up to see how many I can do…

Last year I topped out at 45

Still want to try the classic 100 x 100m. That would be off 2:00
Made it to 81

Blimey. The last month I’ve been doing 10x100. Tonight I was planning on raising it to 15. @Poet is right - animal!!

Nah…just saves me thinking about what to do.

Music on.
Start the watch
Frown at anyone who gets in the lane

Steady on there!!!
Do them as ā€œbrokenā€ - like 50v.hard, 50 steady, etc. Makes it more interesting.

It’s a shit session. It’s okay with the club, dreadful solo.

Yes I have found it to be a tough session - but one of those I really enjoy once it’s done.

2x1Km@HM pace this morning.

However, as I still expect to be about 8Kg above race weight for my HM in 3 and a half weeks time, I certainly won’t be running it at that pace!

8km treadmill 2% at 5.15 pace

Looks of decent training going on :+1: . I tend to average around 8h a week but managed 11hr last week with a 3hr/90km (2km) Zwift ride (Four Horseman course). Good training for middle distance triathlons. I got a new power PB of 264W for 90 min. Cotswold Classic was 224W for 90 min so if I can split the difference this year, that would be great! Fell over while running home the other day and scuffed my knee, nothing too bad but following day when I went for a lunch run I think it messed my form up and I ended up pulling my hamstring :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Compression socks on today (I’m sure they won’t help that much) and going for a steady bike ride on my lunch.

Great effort @joex

2 more km to round it off would have been nice :grinning:

Wow 222 PRs!

First IMUK loop of the year…

A wet one too… no rain but the top half… Darwen, Rammy Jackson heights etc was soaking …!?!

No aero bars
Gator Hardshells
Av hr of 131
and wet descents all culminated in a huge 23 kph average…

I biked to the start and back for a total moving time of nearly 5 hours…

On the plus side a change of pads and breaking onto alloy made a huge difference…

That is one horrible loop.
