Looking at the Met Office site, it’s going get stronger later! Apart from being very uncomfortable, do you think there is any danger? trees etc? I’ve only ever considered the safety aspect when cycling.
In the same boat. Can’t be arsed with that wind outside.
Had planned an easy hour run.
Not run on a treadmill in years
Maybe this is nature’s way of saying ‘Do some strength and core work’ today?
Exactly.
Or put your feet up. Take a day off
I have Bramley 20 miler a week today. If I take today off and do well at Bramley, it will look like genius planning. If I do poorly, then I can blame it on my missed run.
Thought about a ride outside today. Scrapped that and did a Wattbike session earlier.
Doubt if the 3 dogs will go out walkies today!
All our local CC and CTC rides have been canned today. I haven’t seen a single person even walking past our window.
Very rare for us but we had chips from the local van that comes weekly last night. I figured my long run would burn that. Gonna pay for that at tomorrow’s weigh in.
I’m going to walk the dog shortly, but keeping away from trees where possible.
Doubt I’ll jog - probably clean my chain and cassette instead. For the third time this year. FFS
We had a few races cancelled today as well.
I’m have had a terrible week for training so have to get out today. Mine will be 7.30 this evening though. I could do with 90 mins easy
First treadmill run in years!!
A virtual tour of Queenstown (ah the memories)
First time using the indoor run setting on my 735. Watch and treadmill weren’t that far apart from each other which was a surprise with no footpod.
Wasn’t as horrific as I feared but only 5km
I’m over 13 hours this week, with two complete rest days, so I ain’t too fussed (though I’d like 15 hours!)
12 hours, 800 tss. I’m happy calling it a week
1hr20 Zwift. I think it’s 3 weeks since I turned a pedal. 26kms, 355mtrs vert, 154 watt av.
sigh… 3hr Zwift session coming up, and 30 min treadmill brick run… Sooooooooo looking forward to that!
I got talked\conned into going out for a run with a couple of people from the club this morning, oddly there was only 3 of us that turned up. Went onto the tops of the moors and it was a bit blowy, but we had more of a tailwind, then dropped back down into the woods for some shelter.
Wasn’t quite as wet as I was expecting.
I’ve now done 60K of running this week, and 30k has been on the trails so not a bad week running wise.
Only 1 wattbike session but I’ll probably have another short one later one.
Jeff
Yeah nice route that. Heading back over to Guisborough next week for a few days off work so hoping to get some good training in over the moors.
10.5 hrs this week. As my tt was cancelled this morning, I couldn’t face a 3hr turbo so substituted in a 7x10min sweet spot TR session instead, which was a bit more palatable. CTL still creeping up, now at 92. Weight still coming down.
Binned my hour run, didn’t visit the dreadmill, cleaned my cassette and chain and had a nap instead
Club swim coming up
22km on the treadmill - weather awful. One episode of Picard and 2.5 of Lucifer made the time pass surprisingly easily
13hrs this week…actually enjoyed my 3hr Zwift this afternoon, with a bit of a TT effort belting up and down the fuego flats for an average of 22.1mph over the 3hrs, with a 30 min brick run at 5:15 min/km pace off it, that felt really really comfortable… i’ll take that at this stage of the season!
CTL back up to 99 too…
