Sounds like a perfect day FPâŠand that plate of chipsđ
Weather looks fab - we also had lunch in the Ship Aground - very generous portions it is fair to say
No swim
This is a triathlon site you know !
Weather turned out great. The wind that was doing the surf in was quite welcome and cooling on the trails. The weather was proper miserable from about 9pm last night and this morning but quickly cleared.
yes, should have had a look around at what others had as portions in the Ship Aground but most were sat outside. I was really expecting a small, typical tourist trap plate but it was much more generous than we were expecting. A lot got left!
I had no idea Morthoe village was so big. (and pretty opulent by the looks of it!)
FINALLY got out for the first time in 16 days after illness, injury and malaise.
I had been dreading it, and probably avoiding it the last few days. Despite it being really humid and warm , it wasnât too bad. Hip was aching at about 10km, so just ran home for 12 rather than pushing things. Chest not as bad as feared, but deffo not right.
Hoping to get out on my bike tomorrow morning with a couple of mates for a really easy amble. Need to steadily and sensibly build up again before killing myself at this race in a few weeks time.
2 runs in 2 days. Get me.
Nice and easy 35 minutes yesterday.
Tempo 22.5 minutes today.
All on the treadmill.
Good to hear mate
8km tempo progression run for me, average pace 4:29 /km (35min59sec for 8km)
Nice to be running in cooler temperatures.
Nice!
What was your heart rate variation?
Nice one Mr Turner. Are you training for a specific event?
Did you have pizza after?
With Pineapple on
Donât be silly. No one puts fruit on a pizza
Errrr. Tomato is a fruit. Youve just fucked pizza good and proper.
A simple technicality, or a bbq sauce base
Fruit peel? Had zucchini, yellow tomato and grated lemon on one in Sorrento.
Yeah and just for clarity I would never eat a pizza with pineapple on, never. I would turn that in to the world record for the longest flight of a dough based frisbee ever.
In Oz we have beetroot on burgers.
