Managed to get out for 92K on the bike this morning at just over 30kph, that’s usually a decent guide for me as it was quite windy and I just had standard kit on. AP was 200W. Then a 3K brick that was pretty painful
Quite a big week at 10.5 hours and 47K of running which is probably my biggest this year.
Only swam twice so far and might see if I can get there for a recovery session this afternoon, but the two sessions weren’t bad with a bit of quality.
Should try and take it a bit easier this week as I’ve got a half next Sunday.
It’s the terminology they use on the course but IDK, think on this course they use AI as umbrella term to include anything where the computer’s brain is put to use to solve a problem.
Machine learning is next on the agenda, haven’t quite got there yet, think this week is going to be a low volume training week as the homework is writing a program to get the computer to learn how to play and win at “Nim”.
Supposed to do back to back long runs this weekend but instead did Delamere 10km with my daughter in the chucking rain. Not sure I could have tolerated another long run in the rain after 30km yesterday
Got out for just under 19kms with some friends this evening. Absolutely stunning night down on the new estuary. Nice big spring tide meant a bit of wading which is always fun. Full moon reflecting off the water. Nice temperature - shorts and vests. No wind. Quiet. Loads and loads of wildlife. Perfect!
They redeveloped the estuary into a new nature reserve. Got rid of the cricket ground and flooded it again. Built some new dykes and channels and bridges and stuff. Loads of new paths and bird hides.
It’s a cracking area and will get better in a few years once it’s settled.
They are great pics. Saw Lee on the weekend, he said he’s running the 110 with you. He was sweep on Saturday but I saw him has I was driving out, so not sure if he got bored or gave them the hurry up.
