It’s not as hard as an Ironman or a 70.3
It just isn’t long enough to get to those levels of pain, however the 16 mins I’ve spent in competition doing wall balls were probably the most uncomfortable I can remember, certainly in recent times.
Effort wise think sprint tri but at times you are forced to stop moving forward as your in too deep.
Apart from the drugs and topless posing it’s a good sport
I’d do another one I think.
I have actually done some swim/bike/run in a week. The first time that’s happened in, well, I can’t remember. The run was 2x12 minute treadmill bits before and after a spin class (so let’s call that a brick session ). I may even do a second swim tomorrow.
Normally just a light swim on a Monday but not been for two weeks.
Had a rest day yesterday.
6am One Hour easy with 7 minute VO2max effort, a few watts more than my best last season (October 23 - Sept 24, I run my seasons October - September), nothing to shout about, still bad but small progress.
5pm 1140m swim about 1:55 per 100m pace ave (cheating in a 20m pool)
