110kms today, practicing eating for my 200k audax, next week. I’ve developed a taste for Graze bars, so had one an hour, on the hour. Also stopped every time to get my heart rate down and hopefully digest it better. Very unaudaxy but needs must after my stomach woes from last year. Seemed to work ok.

Big fat nothing, unless smashing up a wardrobe and washing two cars count? :man_shrugging: :joy:

I thought about your previous comment regarding achilles when running up a hill today when I realised my right foot was so much more on the forefoot / toes than my left. Left heel much closer to the ground than the right. I’m obviously still not 100% over my injury December, I do not realise unless going up a 5% plus hill.

Bit of a mini training adventure for me, 31k across the moors to the pub in the middle of nowhere. Pint of pop and chocolate bar before heading back.

Surprisingly flat given the location but a lot used to be a railway line, it’s also part of the C2C.

I have done it a few times before but good day out especially with the conditions, even a slight tailwind back.

Eased the body with a short swim until the legs were twinging with cramp :grimacing:

Oh, and rolled my left ankle after 15 minutes  bloody hurt as well.

In case you aren’t on Strava.

Alsort of difficulties today, stomach ache at start, weather (wind/heat), backache, fly in my eye, edit I forgot the shoulder pain, it hurt more than my hips, quads and glutes. Shoulder is fucked, couldn’t swim even if I had a decent opportunity. It was hard carrying a water bottle today, at time I carried in the arm / hand I dont drink from (my right, im left handed.)

Long run 36km at 34km a kilometer at around MP did a 4:51 min/km (I took a really easy the 3km before it though) the rest were about 5:34

Sunny outside, perfect Zwift weather  about an hour and half, won a BMX, got some robo points and completed the ZG challenge

Thanks… and thanks @fruit_thief, two weeks ago 35½km was easier but it was not as warm and 5s per km slower so I guess it was progress  Dropping a 4:50 km on tired legs, 34km in, was good.

Looks like Mrs T is shaping up well for the marathon :+1:

Pretty tricky with it being so small and balanced on a fence, too.

24km very easy road/trail, up to Cheesefoot Hd and back. I used the Trail setting on my watch which has HR on the main screen. Tried to keep it under 150, failed miserably. I think it’s something I don’t pay enough attention to but my HR is wrist based anyway.

New coffee shop/butcher in the village so I checked it out 4 km from home. Very nice :+1:

first road ride in three months.
SlowAF :see_no_evil::sob:

Got held up a few times too.
18s stopping time is just far too long.
Must do better.
