Saturday 16k easy run with zl
2hr club trail run, with one sudden and unexpected press-up. No damage it seems.
Ran with the full soft bottle and a gel flask for the first time, plus hip flasks. Still a bit of a faff but think I did feel a lot fresher come the end.
I’ve got my eye out for water taps on the route now, want to avoid the soft bottle if I can.
Gel flask very good though.

Fairly solid 9 hours this week but included a little bit of quality in places, being in the car most of yesterday cut it a bit short but was also a bit of a break.
5 hours of cycling which was mostly the ride around the moors and a couple of goes on Zwift, 3 hours of running and an hour of swimming.
Finally gave blood this afternoon so things will be a struggle for any intensity for a week or two, supposed to have a trail half next weekend which will be mostly a long steady run now.

2 sets each of db bench press, db arnold curls, bb bicep curls, kb deadlifts, kb sumo squats / kb thrusters.
Shoulders hurt.
Hadn’t run since last Tues for various reasons. Almost rolled over and went back to sleep. But glad to say I didn’t.
A nice 15 odd kms. A few progressive ones towards the end. Felt alright.
Always fancied running between to two… cycled it a few times before after the Dartmoor classic or (Moor2sea back in the day)
Finally got it done today… not that exciting but the kind of thing the family say nah, you wont do that… need a car.

Made the trip to Castle Combe for the DB Max 10TT, stopped off for a easy 1400m swim at Westcountry Water Park on the way, then the main event - big PB of over a minute for a 10 but probably to be expected on closed course and nice tarmac.
Managed to get out for a 50km ride, this afternoon. Felt tired for this one, after a rubbish night’s sleep.

Did the club 10 tonight, last one of the series and mostly to see how the tweaked bike position was, it’s slowly getting better that I think I’ll be able to run afterwards but still a bit of fiddling yet.
Wasn’t pushing particularly hard as I was tired and still getting over the donation, but 243W AP for 26:40 on rubbish roads and not much aero stuff will have to do for now.
Also managed a swim earlier!
