Looks like it could be correct if you average HR was 154. I assume that means a significant time was around threshold, (160-170bpm?) What does the the in zone chart show?

I have a feeling Garmin do primary benefit off maxhr (186) even if you are using LTHR% zones

That is strange. HR zones are odd.

If I remember correctly for Primary Benefit it uses EPOC as determined by the algorithm in the first beat paper that I’ve posted before.

Saturday - just some openers on the bike before Wombourne Sprint Tri on Sunday

19km Bike 244 watts NP 38 minutes, (got a threshold increase notification) →
:poop: T2, left shoe got stuck half on my foot, so was very slow →
5km 22:36 over a minute slower than I would expect but the bike was season best power PRs from 8 minutes to 36 minutes.

8 hour 6 minute week

First long run since OCC

went out for 17/18km with the dog - watch ran out of juice after 6km so just running on feel

Some light drizzle on the way home - really opened up just after we got home

42.5km for a 3 run week. I’ll take that. Nothing particularly interesting in there. Just solid jogging about.

54km of running here including an interval session 3 x 1.6km with my buddy after work on Tuesday, we’re going to try to keep them going over the winter and he calls them “Tuesday Torture”.

Biggest run week since July, which isn’t saying much. Just doing it for enjoyment at present, no events in mind. Quite a lot of it super slow 7 mins/ km with Mrs FT

10 hours this week, nearly half on the bike but nothing longer than about 55K, a couple of shorter efforts on Zwift as well.

About 1:45 of swimming including the O\W swim today but again nothing much further. The rest was running, with some speedwork, 2*2k, parkrun and the 1K reps today but at different paces.

Ready for an easy few days though!

Going to try and post weekly in here for the next year or so, to try and keep motivation up etc. I’m 36yrs, 81.5kg (ish) and 188cm. Trying to get back into consistent training, after starting back up with running 6 months ago. Might add swimming in one day…

Monday: Run with toddler in buggy. 12.5km, 193m elev, struggled round in 1hr12, HR av 144, max 160. rTSS 109.

Tuesday: Bike 25.4km, 469m elev. 1hr2, HR av 127, max 145. Av power 192w, NP 224w. TSS 50

Weds/Thurs off due to change in toddlers nursery day.

Friday: Run 12.2km 269m elev. 1hr4, HR av 149, max 166. rTSS 120.

Saturday: Bike 87.6km 1678m elev. 3hr49, HR av 127, max 161. Av power 187w, NP 224w. TSS 189

Sunday: Run/walk with toddler in buggy 13.26km, 319m elev. 1hr28, HR av 125, max 148. rTSS 117.
