Every station flat out I go .. you go I go .. big rests and very big pain too.
Beat him !!! 25:50 v 29:57. In now 5.5 kgs heavier than him that’s the difference here obviously lots of station pb”s (6) running in between doesn’t half slow you down.. who knew. ?
I remember went I first got an indoor (dumb) trainer… 10 minutes and I was… “well this was a waste of money” but two weeks later I was doing 90 minute sessions indoors if it was sub zero. I’d still do a ride even when my drink became frozen rather that take to the trainner.
Nothing got in the way of training either way.
Also used to do 75 - 90 minutes on the A roads in the dark before work. I look back now, must have been mad and very focused.
30km 5qm jogs to work. The morning after a 40km 65min chaingang in zero degrees. Then a nice 20min swim and some weights before that. Ah. Those were the days.
Just over an hour of strength work in the gym followed by 10 mins in the sauna
Back at it after a week of the lurgy - feels great to be back at it (my biggest steps day since last weekend with 526 steps was Friday - I have really missed it)
Only did 20 minutes plus 6 minutes of the second… it was do-able but really aggravating my foot. Still no where near running. (It is very frustrating )
