Training - What Training?!

Finished the week on 7 hours

3 runs with today being 24km
2 x 1 hr on the turbo
2 x swims
Short gym weights session, working on my bench.

The run today, did 11km warmup solo and then joined a couple of clubmates for a hilly and incredibly muddy 13k trail run.

Not feeling it this week, but still had some good workouts and hit some good intensity (for me)

Late night last night plus apathy meant just over an hour on the turbo.

Ticked off all the remaining Tour de Zwift routes so a nice XP bonus

11 hours for the week.

Tomorrow will be 1hr 45min on the treadmill first thing to start the week off with some misery

I’m trying to build up running with shorter runs on easy/recovery days. Usually I just try to jump back up to 3x1hr a week, but trying to be more sustainable.

Been a couple of weeks, already have a stiff neck from the laptop and probably did too much. For a recovery day.

It was a reply to your comment about the training week getting worse and that’s about all I can think is worse than 1:45 on a dreadmill :face_vomiting::joy:

am 8k run - 5k easy, 3k fartlek

pm 10k run - 2k warmup, 12 reps of Campion Hill, 2k cooldown

Zwift ERG mode

205W (about 65-70% FTP) for 1 hour 25 mins

Could have gone a bit longer but got a hard couple of sessions tomorrow.

IM Frankfurt in June, but I’m coming back from a much lower base as I basically took a year off proper training, plus another year older…

Getting some higher intensity stuff in, which we can all agree is not my forte
